An interesting game forBrno (19-9) which played road game in Usti nad Labem against 4th placed Usti n/Labem (18-12). Third ranked Brno managed to get a 8-point victory 91-83 . It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Usti n/Labem. It was a great evening for American forward Ethan Chargois (205-1999, college: Oklahoma) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds. The former international point guard Richard Balint (192-1996, agency: Octagon Europe) helped adding 17 points, 5 assists and 4 steals. Chargois is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Brno's coach Martin Vanek allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the losing side the former international point guard Tomas Vyoral (190-1992, agency: Octagon Europe) responded with 16 points and 6 assists and American forward Lesley Varner Jr (201-1998, college: UTRGV) scored 19 points. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Brno maintains third place with 19-9 record having just eight point less than leader Nymburk. Usti n/Labem at the other side dropped to the fifth position with 12 games lost. Brno will play against Opava (#4) on the road in the next round. Usti n/Labem will play against Decin and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
